Ynyslas Nature Reserve sits at the mouth of the Dyfi Estuary — a vast expanse of sand dunes, beach and saltmarsh that is home to rare plants, butterflies and wading birds. On a clear day you can look across the estuary to Aberdyfi village. The beach here is quiet and unspoilt, and the dunes are a fascinating ecosystem in their own right.
