1. Booking & Confirmation
A booking is confirmed when we have received your deposit and issued a written confirmation by email. Enquiries and provisional holds do not constitute a confirmed booking.
The lead guest making the booking must be 18 or over and is responsible for all guests during the stay.
2. Payment
- A 25% deposit is required to confirm your booking.
- The remaining balance is due 8 weeks before your arrival date.
- For bookings made within 8 weeks of arrival, the full amount is payable at the time of booking.
- A refundable security deposit of £200 is required and will be returned within 7 days of departure, subject to the property being left in good order.
3. Cancellation by the Guest
Cancellations must be notified in writing to contact@tywynholidays.co.uk.
- More than 8 weeks before arrival: deposit forfeited, balance refunded in full.
- Between 4–8 weeks before arrival: 50% of total booking cost forfeited.
- Less than 4 weeks before arrival: 100% of total booking cost forfeited.
We strongly recommend that guests take out adequate travel insurance to cover cancellation costs.
4. Cancellation by the Owner
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your booking (e.g. due to fire, flood or other circumstances beyond our control), we will refund all monies paid in full. We will not be liable for any additional costs, losses or damages arising from such a cancellation.
5. Occupancy & Property Use
- Maximum occupancy is 4 guests per property.
- Both properties are strictly pet-free.
- The properties are for holiday use only — not for commercial events, parties or gatherings beyond the stated occupancy.
- Guests must not cause nuisance or disturbance to neighbours.
- Smoking is not permitted inside or on the balcony/terrace of either property.
6. Arrival & Departure
- Check-in: from 4:00 PM
- Check-out: by 10:00 AM
- Early check-in or late check-out may be arranged subject to availability — please enquire in advance.
7. Guest Responsibilities
Guests are expected to leave the property in a clean and tidy condition, with dishes washed and waste disposed of in the bins provided. An additional cleaning charge may be deducted from the security deposit if the property requires excessive cleaning.
Any damage to the property, fixtures or fittings beyond normal wear and tear must be reported immediately and may be charged against the security deposit or invoiced separately.
8. Wi-Fi & Services
Wi-Fi is provided as a complimentary service. We do not guarantee continuous or uninterrupted connectivity and accept no liability for service interruptions.
9. Liability
Tywyn Holidays accepts no liability for loss, damage or injury to guests or their property during their stay, except where such loss, damage or injury is caused by our negligence or breach of statutory duty.
Guests use all outdoor areas, beach access and the surrounding coastline at their own risk.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
