Aberdyfi is one of the most charming small towns on the Welsh coast — a cluster of colourful houses around a working harbour, with a sandy beach on the Dyfi Estuary. At low tide you can walk the beach south from Tywyn all the way to Aberdyfi. The village has several good pubs and restaurants, a sailing club, and a relaxed atmosphere that's hard to resist.
