The private balcony — with rattan seating — is the perfect place to watch the sunset over the sea or spot dolphins from the shore.
A gate from the rear garden opens directly onto the promenade and steps from the beach, making this one of the most directly accessible beachfront properties in mid-Wales. The property is finished to an exceptional standard throughout, with sea views from the first floor lounge and kitchen.
What's included: electricity, heating, WiFi, bed linen and towels are all included in your stay, along with a welcome pack to help you settle in on arrival. There are no hidden extras beyond the security deposit and, for shorter stays close to arrival, the balance payment outlined at booking.
We had a wonderful few days enjoying the sea view, we even had a beautiful sunset! We had great walks on the beach, a trip on the steam train and a great walk up to the lake at Cadair Idris. After all our activities, we could relax in Becky's comfortable and peaceful place — comfy beds, super clean and everything you need. I've stayed in lots of different places and I can honestly say this was the nicest accommodation I've experienced! Thanks Becky!
We stayed for 4 nights at Rebecca's house 4th to 8th October 2026. The house was beautifully furnished and decorated, very tasteful, with no clutter. The kitchen and bathroom were both spotlessly clean, kitchen with quality appliances and everything needed to self cater, and bathroom with excellent shower, towel rail etc. Beds and bedding excellent too. Everything needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay had been thought of, everything clean, in good condition, and working properly. The views from front and back were stunning, mountains at front, sea at back, with balcony and conservatory to make use of. Rebecca was in touch to ensure all was well, and provided adequate written information re appliances, recycling etc. It was everything described and more, we had a wonderful few days and certainly hope to return. Thank you Rebecca for providing such an amenity for others to enjoy.
The most magical stay. The property exceeded expectations. The views from this property are spectacular. The balconies are so well located and the outside terrace is perfect for sitting and relaxing. The bedrooms are big with comfortable beds and incredible views. The finish in the property is high end.
We had a wonderful week at Four Degrees West! It was perfect in every way for our family, spotlessly clean and in a fantastic location. The view from the living room window was absolutely spectacular! Location was perfect for reaching all of the things to do in Tywyn on foot.
We had a wonderful week in Becky's immaculate and very comfortable property. The sea views from 4 Degrees West were fantastic and a highlight every day of our visit. We enjoyed walking to Aberdovey along the beach and catching the train back.
Gorgeous sea views from the balcony, and the garden allows direct access to the promenade and the beach. Even when the weather is not so good, it's great to curl up on the sofa and watch the crashing waves through the balcony doors. The house is immaculately presented.
Four Degrees West has 1 private parking space directly at the property. Both bedrooms and the bathroom are on the ground floor. The lounge and kitchen are on the first floor to make the most of the sea views, reached by an internal staircase — there is no lift or step-free access to the upper floor. The rear garden gate opens straight onto the promenade with a short, level walk to the beach. If you have specific accessibility needs, do get in touch before booking and we'll do our best to advise.
Four Degrees West sits directly on the Tywyn promenade — one of the finest stretches of beachfront accommodation in Mid-Wales. Step through the garden gate and you're on the beach. Walk north along the coast path for rockpooling and sand dunes; walk south towards Aberdyfi for estuary views and one of Wales's best links golf courses. Look out to sea in summer and you've a real chance of spotting Cardigan Bay's resident bottlenose dolphins right from the balcony.
The Talyllyn Railway — the world's first preserved railway — departs from Tywyn Wharf just five minutes' walk away, winding through the Fathew Valley to Dolgoch Falls. The Magic Lantern Cinema, BIFA Cinema of the Year 2025, is a ten-minute stroll. For food, Proper Gander is a local favourite for a proper meal out, Millie & Sids is a local favourite for brunch and coffee, and the Victorian Slipway has sea-view dining on the promenade.
Further afield, Cadair Idris is 20 minutes by car — one of Wales's great mountain walks. The Mach Loop military low-flying area is 25 minutes, and the beautiful village of Aberdyfi is a 10-minute drive or a long beach walk at low tide.
