Pet-Free Self-Catering in Tywyn
Lots of holiday cottages welcome dogs, which is great news for dog owners. Some guests would rather stay somewhere pets don't go, whether that's because of an allergy or asthma, feeling nervous around dogs, or simply preference. Our cottages are for them.
Four Degrees West and Venedotia, our two holiday cottages in Tywyn, are both pet-free: we don't accept pets at either property, at any time of year. It's a standing policy rather than something that changes from booking to booking.
Assistance Dogs Are Welcome
Assistance dogs are not pets, and they're welcome at both cottages. Please let us know when you book. If you have any other access or health needs, get in touch before you book and we'll do what we reasonably can to help.
Our Pet Policy, Floors and Cleaning
Pet dander can linger in carpets and soft furnishings after an animal has stayed, which is why some guests with allergies look for a property that doesn't accept pets. Here's what we can tell you about ours:
- No pets. We don't accept pets at either cottage. Assistance dogs are welcome, so we can't promise that no animal has ever stayed.
- Hard floors. The open-plan living areas have hard flooring with loose rugs rather than fitted carpet.
- Cleaned between every stay. Both cottages are cleaned thoroughly before each new arrival.
We can't guarantee an allergen-free environment, as allergens can also be carried in on clothing and luggage. If you have a severe allergy, please get in touch before booking and we'll happily answer any questions about the cottages.
