St Cadfan's is Tywyn's ancient parish church, honouring St Cadfan, the 6th-century saint who founded a religious community here. Its great treasure is the Cadfan Stone, a carved stone pillar bearing what is believed to be the earliest surviving inscription in the Welsh language. A quiet, atmospheric place to step into from the High Street, a short walk from the cottages.
